The concept for Bill Rebel came about when our founder discovered that a family member was shelling out more than $350 per month for internet, cable TV, landline, and cell phone. For far too long, the Canadian telecom industry has thrived on the back of predatory behaviour, exploiting peoples lack of familiarity with the industry and acceptance of subpar service to consistently overcharge and underdeliver to all of us, all across the country.
Often those affected the most by these exploitative practices are seniors, who can struggle with most parts of this process, ranging from understanding what their needs *really* are to what newer offerings are available on the market all the way down to even understanding the language used.
Salespeople and other "retention" agents from the telcos can't really be trusted to offer impartial and honest advice because their commission, bonuses and other KPIs are linked to how much you spend and how long you remain a customer, regardless of if what they're offering is whats best for YOU.
Thats where we come in to cut through the nonsense.
