The concept for Bill Rebel was hatched when our founder discovered that a family member was overpaying by almost double for what comparable internet, cable TV, landline, and mobile services should have cost in 2024. For far too long, the Canadian telecom industry has thrived on predatory practices, exploiting customers' lack of familiarity with the industry in general and acceptance of subpar service to consistently overcharge and underdeliver.
Often those affected the most by these exploitative practices are seniors, who can struggle with most parts of this process, ranging from understanding what their needs *really* are, to what newer offerings are available on the market all the way down to even understanding the language used.
Telco salespeople and their "retention" agents can't really be trusted to offer impartial and honest advice because their commission, bonuses and other KPIs are linked to how much you spend and if they manage to retain you as a customer, regardless of if what they're offering is whats best for YOU. Thats where we come in to cut through the nonsense. We work for YOU, not for them.
